Heating & Air Conditioning

The purpose of the Heating & Air Conditioning System is to clean, cool, heat, regulate, ventilate and dehumidify the air entering the vehicle. The HVAC(Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) is comprised of many components:

  • Electronic Controls (Head, Body Module, Sensors, Actuators)
  • Heater Core
  • Blower Motor
  • A/C Compressor
  • Condenser
  • Evaporator
  • Freon
  • Drier/Receiver
  • Expansion Valve
  • Condenser Cooling Fan

The HVAC System in our vehicles today are a convenience feature, we really don’t need them for the operation of our vehicles. Would we do without them? Probably not. We take for granted the heat we have in the winter and the cool air that refreshes us in the summer. From time to time the A/C system needs to be recharged to bring it back to maximum efficiency. It is difficult to tell if a leak is present without specific test equipment. Freon not under pressure is a gas and cannot be seen. Sometimes seals, hoses or even the compressor or another component needs to be changed. We have the test equipment and expertise to keep your heating & air conditioning system working its best.
